           John Sage, M.D.
Dr. John Sage is a board-certified family physician who has cared for families for over 30 years. He is certified in both Family Practice and Internal Medicine. He was born and raised on the west side of Chicago.
He is a founding member of the family practice Metrodocs in Mount Prospect, as well as, the president of the medical staff at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois from 2008 to the end of 2009.

Dr. Sage's alma mater is Loyola University's Stritch School of Medicine. He then completed his residency at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton, MA and at Lutheran General Hospital.

Since 1980 until now, Dr. Sage has been a Clinical Assistant Professor in Family Practice at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.

Dr. Sage was the first medical director of Rainbow Hospice in Park Ridge. He served there for 15 years and is now an associate medical director. He was the honoree at the Rainbow Hospice Gala in 2001. Over the years, Dr. Sage has gained great expertise in end of life care and has helped educate fellow health care providers about end of life care for patients and families.

He was voted "Family Physician of the Year" in 2002 by the Illinois Academy of Family Physicians, which is the highest honor one can receive from the Academy. In 2004, Dr. Sage received the Lifesaving Partner Award from the Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network and in 2009, Dr. Sage was listed as one of "America's Top Family Doctors".

Dr. Sage is a member of the IAFP's Public Relations Task Force, which works to promote family medicine's message to the public. He
is also a member of the Arlington Heights Smoke Free Coalition.
 
 
 
         
           Joel Kragt, M.D.
Dr. Kragt was born and raised in Northwest Iowa. He now lives in Mount Prospect with wife Joleen and daughters, Natalie and Jaclyn.
He is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and the University of Iowa Medical School. He completed a Family Medicine Residency at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, Illinois, where he was House Staff President. He is board certified in Family Medicine and is on the attending staff at Lutheran General Hospital and Northwest Community Hospital. Dr. Kragt has been on the Quality Improvement and Finance committees for Advocate Physician Partners and has been President of Metrodocs since 2002. Dr. Kragt has a strong interest in preventive services, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and sports medicine.
 
 
 
         
       
Stephen Sproul, M.D.
 
 
 
Dr. Sproul is 55 years old and has been in practice 25 years. He is
affiliated with Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and Northwest
Community Hospital. He is board certified in Family Practice Medicine
and is additionally qualified in geriatrics. Dr. Sproul also taught in
Family Medicine Residency for 10 years. He went to medical school
at Pennsylvania State Medical School. His internship and residency were completed at J. F. Kennedy Medical Center in New Jersey. His fellowship was at Lutheran General Hospital in Obstetrics. "I like to work collaboratively with patients to promote wellness and help
then manage their health concerns as best as possible. I do this considering the importance of the patient's beliefs, family, culture
and community.
         
      
 Alison Lechner, D.O.
 
 
 
Dr. Lechner graduated from Des Moines University in Iowa and completed her residency at Lutheran General Hospital. She is board certified in Family Practice Medicine. Her philosophy of care, "Caring for the whole family as well as the individual is an important part of my practice. I believe in a partnership between the doctor and patient, with open communication and education to achieve the best outcomes for each individual's health."
         
         Jennifer Szabo, D.O.
 
 
 
Dr. Szabo attended Loyola University for undergraduate training and completed her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University (Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine) in 2001. She completed her residency at Lutheran General Hospital and is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Szabo is on staff at Lutheran General Hospital and Northwest Community Hospital. Her practice philosophy is to create a down to earth, easy going rapport with
patients in hopes of providing the foundation for a long term relationship. She also speaks fluent Hungarian.
         
      
Benedict Ciszek, M.D.
 
 
 
Dr. Ciszek was born in Chicago and raised in Arlington Heights. He graduated from Prospect High School, then went on to the University
of Notre Dame for a Physics degree. He completed Medical School at
Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. then moved back home to
complete a Family Medicine residency at Lutheran General Hospital.
In addition, Dr. Ciszek completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of California in San Diego. He is board certified in both
Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. Dr. Ciszek speaks both Polish
and Spanish and looks forward to addressing the needs of both in our
community. He has a strong interest in Sports Medicine and is
currently the team physician for a Polish amateur soccer team, AAC Eagles and helps cover the volleyball league in which he plays. Dr. Ciszek is recently married and is enjoying his new home in Wood Dale
with his wife, Edyta. His philosophy of care, "I like to help people".
